Brian Yazzie, Nov 29, 2018

Chef Brian Yazzie is a Diné Chef from Dennehotso, AZ on the northeastern part of the Navajo Nation. He focuses on using hyper-local and seasonal ingredients, as well as modern culinary techniques, to help revitalize the original indigenous cuisine of North America.

Chef Brian serves as one of the Chef de Cuisine at The Sioux Chef in Minneapolis, a team member at NĀTIFs (North American Traditional Indigenous Food Systems) and I-Collective, an autonomous group of Indigenous chefs, activists, herbalists, seed- and knowledge-keepers, that promotes Indigenous contributions in gastronomy, agriculture, the arts, and society at large.

In 2017 he started his own company Yazzie the Chef with his partner Hoonmana Polk (Diné/San Carlos Apache/Quechan) who is from Pinon, AZ.  They travel internationally creating private dinners, pop up dinners, and educational opportunities.

On Thursday, November 29, Chef Brian will present a Native harvest dinner, using local ingredients prepared creatively with modern techniques.

We offer two seatings, one at 5:30 PM and 7:45 PM. Seating is limited to 20 diners per seating and each diner must purchase a ticket in advance. Tickets are non-refundable, but are transferable to another person for the same date. This is a FIXED menu, but with advance notice we can try to accommodate dietary requests.

Wine and beer will be available at an additional charge. Gratuity is not included in dinner price.
