Join us for a multi-course culinary celebration of the St. Croix River valley.

When it comes to creative use of local and seasonal food, few chefs are as well versed as Nick Schneider. He cooked for years at natural foods epicenter Café Brenda in Minneapolis. He also worked at Spoon River, was a demonstration chef for the Mill City Farmer's Market, and currently owns and operates Thrive Chef Works, where he is a personal chef and teaches cooking classes.

On Wednesday, September 20, the menu will be primarily Northern French with elegant twists on rustic dishes. While the exact menu depends upon harvest, Chef Nick teased us with visions of gougeres served with proscuitto, chestnut crab apple, tart fall greens and a local farmhouse cheese; roasted Delicata squash; smoked white fish and black cod soup; and savory fall custard. With advance notice Chef Nick can accommodate vegetarian and dairy free requests (e-mail deidre@stcroixchocolateco.com).

We offer two seatings, one at 5:30 PM and 7:45 PM. Seating is limited to 20 diners per seating and each diner must purchase a ticket in advance. Tickets are non-refundable, but are transferable to another person for the same date.

Wine and beer will be available at an additional charge. Gratuity is not included in dinner price.
